The hotel is in the city centre, perfect for exploring the city or going on day trips. The breakfast is high quality with plenty of sweet or savoury options. There’s an excellent Asian restaurant on the ground floor.

What an incredible hotel, centrally located near the main town centre. The location couldn't have been better. The view and design of the windows are incredible, and the private bathroom was clean and modern. The staff are friendly and will fill up your water bottle for free, as it's not recommended to drink the tap water. Obviously, it's expensive for a 3-star hotel, but it seems to be the going rate for a hotel on Svalbard. At check-in, I was told there would be slippers in my room (since you need to take your shoes off at the front door), but I was met with a sign saying that they no longer provide slippers in the room. However, this is a minor problem which didn't affect my stay
