The rooms were clean and the location decent, and the food was good. At about 11:00 PM, while we were already asleep, the phone in our room rang and we were asked to pay the dinner bill; this was disturbing at such a late hour and could have been handled at check‑out. The toilet was clean, but a persistent unpleasant smell lingered throughout our stay, making the bathroom uncomfortable to use.

The price was solid and the infinity pool was great for a dip out of season. The only downside is that it’s a bit off from MG Marg, so you’ll need to catch a taxi from a nearby stand to get to the city center.

Our group had a wonderful 4-day stay at Summit North Star Hotel, Gangtok in July,26. We truly enjoyed every moment of our trip. The hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very relaxing. The swimming pool was fantastic, and we had a great time enjoying the facilities. The restaurant served delicious and tasty food, although the prices were a little on the higher side. The bar was absolutely mind-blowing, with a great ambiance and excellent service. A special thanks to Mr. Azad and Ms. Sushma for their exceptional hospitality and for making our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gangtok. We look forward to staying here again!
