It was close to where we needed to be, but the place was only moderately clean and in need of many updates; the continental breakfast was disappointing—nothing worthwhile.

The place was a nightmare—roaches were in my bed and chair, and the TV barely stayed on the wall.

“I would not recommend this hotel, it is unsafe and unsatisfactory.”

The spot was handy, but safety was a mess: fire extinguishers were discharged, exit signs were missing, the smoke detector in my room probably didn’t work, the second‑floor walkway support had rusted and was hanging, black mold showed up in the lobby and breakfast room, tiles in the lobby floor were loose, parking lots were littered with empty beer bottles, the derelict pool area had no working latch (not child‑proof), and the curtain in my room had quarter‑sized holes.

“Wish we had kept driving”

The staff were rude, the Wi‑Fi password was wrong and they insisted it was correct, the toilet handle was broken so you had to lift the tank lid and reach in to lift the lever, breakfast consisted of a few tangerines and individual cereal boxes you had to open and pour milk into, and there was no coffee in the room or a phone to call the desk.
