Beautiful property, house is spacious, well‑furnished, comfortable for 4 couples; kitchen is very well equipped; owners were very kind with a nice bottle of Touraine wine that we enjoyed; the area is truly beautiful to explore; the gate needs replacement, but we understood it was due for a change.

“No heat, no internet, smell of urine and smoke, and no response to pleas for help!”

The living room was spacious, yet it had a strong urine and smoke odor. There was no heating, no service, and no internet in the bedroom. Calls and messages went unanswered; the next day we got a reply claiming the heat was fine, but the Wi‑Fi still didn’t work everywhere. When we asked for help, the listed phone number was unresponsive. They apologized and suggested we leave a bad review, but eventually raised the temperature to 19.5 °C (67.1 °F). The downstairs bedroom stayed very cold, and nobody came to talk to us. The thermostat might have been inaccurate or located upstairs. If tenants complain about cold rooms, a prompt and helpful response is expected. How much did they save by ignoring us?

The accommodation is very large and matches the photos perfectly, making it ideal for a family gathering. The location is perfect, it’s well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. Unfortunately, due to the weather we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors, which is otherwise well set up. I highly recommend this place!
