The hotel on the lovely beach had amazing, very clean rooms. It’s in a quiet area and could use more entertainment or music; the resort food was nice, but as expected from a 5‑star resort, everything was twice as expensive as other bars or restaurants in town.

We especially liked the quality of service (gym, beach, pools, rooms) and the on‑site dining options; the breakfast was of very high quality. We didn’t love that the hotel is absolutely perfect for children, making it quite family‑friendly, and for a child‑free couple it feels a bit lacking in quiet.

The resort is impeccably kept and family‑friendly, with a gorgeous beach and excellent service. Our room was very cozy, the food quality was good, and there was plenty for our 2‑year‑old son to do. It’s a bit away from the main Khao Lak centre, but we used the shuttle bus a couple of times and getting a taxi back was very easy. Even though it’s marketed as family‑friendly, it didn’t feel like a typical family resort in its look or the food and activities offered, which we appreciated. The walkways by the fish ponds lack secure railings – the gaps are wide and unsafe for toddlers who love to watch and feed the fish. The golf carts moving back and forth were a bit annoying; separate paths for pedestrians and golf carts would be better.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff, facilities, kids club, and activities were all fantastic, and the upgrade we received was a real treat. The beach is beautiful and very quiet, and even though the hotel is large with many guests, it never felt crowded. I would highly recommend it. The animals were my children’s favourite, and a big thank you to the kind man who lets the kids feed them – that was a real highlight! The location’s quietness and beautiful beach are great, but it also means you can’t just walk out of the hotel to a 7‑11 or multiple restaurants. If you’re okay with that and don’t want the hustle of places like Phuket, it’s perfect.

Excellent hotel! The breakfast was outstanding, rich and varied, and we stayed in the family suite – it exceeded our expectations.
