The hosts had small gestures of care, but the cleanliness needs improvement: we found used cotton swabs under the bed, the cleaning was inadequate, there was moisture in the room and bathroom, the stairs to the rooms were very narrow, and overall the price was high for the poor value.

The staff were friendly, but the room was very warm, with partying Dutch youths and mosquitoes.

The spot was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious!

We stayed in the attic room and it was comfortable, even though the heat wave made it sweltering at first; the host handed us a few fans which kept us cool. The garden is lovely and the place is dead quiet, and the shared facilities work well for a bigger group. Only downside was finding the house after dark – the lane between two houses on Main Street is hard to spot and better signs would help.
