The stay at Pousada Lua Vermelha was a complete success. The four‑person room was a two‑storey maisonette, with carefully chosen furnishings, two balconies with lounge chairs, a small table, two stools, and a hammock, all of which completed the setup. From the spacious upper balcony there was a nice view of the sea. The host couple was very warm and always helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We also enjoyed excellent Portuguese cuisine. The beach was practically next door (2 minutes walk) and very picturesque. All in all, a very successful stay; we’ll definitely return!
