The location was great, close to the BMX track and the town, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to Hawera. Thanks to Gary and family. The trees along the long driveway were low for taller vehicles, making the drive slow and some turns were fine.

Peaceful, tranquil, beautiful spot, homely, clean. Thank‑you for the coffee and tea 🍵 😋. Didn’t like leaving 😕 😆.

The location was beautiful. Bed was super comfy. Gary was friendly and helpful. There is only 1 socket in the room and I couldn't have the heater and phone charger on at the same time. Instructions on where to drive would be good to be sent out before trip as GPS sent me down the road parallel to the driveway

The host was very welcoming, showed me around the local area and the sights, and even introduced me to the horses and farm animals on the estate.

The old‑school building fixtures and décor were authentic and brought back memories of my youth, and the rural setting was fantastic.
