The place sits nicely for a layover or a return from holiday, but we booked a room with two double beds for two adults and a 17‑year‑old, and instead got a double plus a single with slats that kept falling off.

The hotel’s quiet spot right next to the motorway made it perfect for our stopover, and the food in the restaurant was excellent and high‑quality. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, our room was well equipped and the whirlpool tub gave us a relaxing evening, and we also took advantage of the short stay to enjoy a nice walk around the lovely surroundings. Everything was as expected, so we had no criticisms.

The location off the main road is super convenient, the old building and grounds are charming, and the charging facilities are handy; the staff are friendly and helpful.
