We had a very pleasant stay at Tin House Quito. The location is excellent, especially for exploring Quito’s historic centre, with many of the main sights within easy walking distance. What we particularly appreciated was the warm, family-like atmosphere. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and really made us feel welcome. Our rooms were also much larger than we had expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast is served on the terrace, which offers a fantastic view over the city. We also liked the fact that the breakfast was different every day, which made each morning a little more enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. There were only a few minor inconveniences, but nothing that significantly affected our stay. Overall, Tin House is a charming place with a personal touch, very good value for money, and an excellent base for discovering Quito. We would happily stay here again. The only minor drawback was some noise from the surrounding area during the night and early morning, which could occasionally make it a little difficult to sleep peacefully. This is, however, more related to the central location than to the hotel itself
