It was very relaxing and in a good location between Lalaport and Hakata Station

Fukuoka reminds me a lot of Montevideo in Uruguay; as a big city it has something in every neighborhood. We went to Nakasu to try the famous Yatai stalls, but the experience wasn’t that good—long lines of at least 7 to 10 customers and the prices of the snacks were at least double what you’d pay at restaurants. It felt more like a hype spot than a real experience. The foam pillow was flattened when I woke up, and the daily rate for these 7 nights was expensive, especially since the area around the hotel isn’t like those places in Matsuyama or Oita.

The room was a reasonable size and comfortable. The complimentary coffee machine and decent breakfast were other highlights. The location was a bit far from the main station, but it was walkable and the free shuttle service was great. It wasn’t far from the airport either.

I wish someone who could speak at least a bit of English was at the front desk.
