As soon as I stepped in from the cold outside, the reception area felt cozy with a homely seating area and a hot cup of tea or coffee available. The room had this too. The area is very leafy green and I walked all the way to my event. There’s an amazing café nearby (about a 15‑minute walk).

There’s no smart TV, so you can’t turn on Netflix, Spotify, YouTube, anything. The location is also far from the city, nothing around.

The toilet and the bathtub/jacuzzi were dirty.

The room is cozy. The staff are friendly. Nice garden. You can pay extra for breakfast.

Nice location. I wouldn’t call this a pension based on my experience, more like a boarding house. The location is nice, the rooms are cozy. What disappointed me most when entering the room was the smoky bathroom (someone had to pull out a whole box) and the broken roof window. The staff tried to be kind, but at first they didn’t even know where to put me and kept asking which room I actually had. And that it wasn’t cleaned. That was eventually sorted out, but you don’t want to deal with that after a full day of business travel.
