The room has a heater and plenty of blankets. The lighting in the room is weak and there’s no full‑length mirror. The bathroom had low water pressure on some days.

“Decepção de San Pedro do Atacama”

I arrived and the management didn’t know about our reservation even though the host confirmed it, so they had to arrange accommodation elsewhere for us in a much better hotel. Other issues: the room door wouldn’t open or close properly; the shower water was cold and scarce; the bathroom was cramped with a paper holder at the shower exit that caused slips; breakfast was terrible (only a liter of milk for all guests); and there was a lot of noise from the floor above. There was only one staff member for all tasks and she had no sense of hygiene, using cleaning gloves to take the bath towels.

The location is ideal, just steps from Caracoles Street so expedition trucks can drop off and pick up after tours. Our host, Gloria, was exceptionally helpful. When a small mix‑up happened with our reservation not showing on her calendar, she handled it quickly and smoothly sorted us out with a room. A glass shower door instead of a curtain and brighter room lighting would be nice improvements, but they’re just small details—everything worked fine.

“Ótima”

Hospitality was wonderful. Everyone was very polite and helpful. The location is great on the main Caracoles Street, the environment is cozy and quiet. Nothing to add.

“Excelente custo benefício e localização”

The hostel sits just a two‑minute walk from Caracoles street, so getting around was a breeze. Staff were super friendly and always ready to help, which made the stay easy. Breakfast was simple but honest, and when we had an early tour they handed us a snack kit. The bathroom had hot water and the room came with its own heater.
