“Exquisite masterclass of understated luxury!”

Borgo Scopeto isn’t all about bling; it balances luxury comforts—spa, pool, service, food, comfy rooms—with a rustic Tuscan farm vibe, thanks to its huge grounds that are pleasant to stroll in the morning. The staff are well‑trained and helpful, and the Sienna views are breathtaking. The farm‑to‑table concept and homemade cosmetics (especially the honey‑based lotion they produce on site) add to the experience. I’ll definitely come back. On the downside, the Wi‑Fi was down for the entire stay—though that’s not their fault, and cell reception is weak anyway, so it was a good excuse to unplug. Dinner service was fantastic, but at breakfast three of the four waiters didn’t speak English, so getting a soft‑boiled egg meant calling for a colleague who could communicate better.

“negative experience, won’t return”

The style, vibe, restaurant, and service are solid. The location feels like the middle of nowhere, with an unusable outside area because the surrounding is swarmed with flies from a natural fertilizing bathroom—totally impractical. The suite’s interior furniture is generally disastrous and unusable, and the price is far too high.

“A beautiful location for a special stay”

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and the room was very well appointed. The staff are attentive and helpful, especially those in the restaurant. The bar service was rather slow, it really needs more than one attendant. Small children, under 3’s really don’t work in a formal restaurant in the evening, however pretty their dress
