I’m always a little skeptical of places with such high ratings, but this is fully deserved. Beautiful accommodation in a great location. The dinner and breakfast meals were fantastic, the onsen brilliant and the staff lovely. The best accommodation on my trip. Not a thing

Lovely quiet environment. Only about eight or 10 rooms so not a huge amount of guest stay at once. The staff made you feel really important the way they served your food and spoke to you. All the food presented was beautiful and delicious and the staff treat you well. We only stayed for the one night as we were doing the Kumano Kodo but wish we could’ve stayed longer
