“Extremely Disappointing Experience and Appalling Customer Service This is feedback I genuinely did not want to give, bu”

We stayed at Travelodge Centum in Busan and it was a huge let‑down, especially the room, housekeeping, safety, and customer service. When we arrived, the room only had one bed, even though we were told an extra futon would be provided; the futon was just a thin, soft single‑doona‑style sheet, not a proper bed. We tried to sort it out ourselves before calling reception, and Sandy came up to check the room and said no other rooms were available. After talking to management and checking again, we found that other rooms did exist. The manager finally moved us to a different room, but that one lacked a couch. Eventually we were taken to a 35th‑floor room that met our needs, but the whole ordeal was frustrating and could have been avoided with better communication. We had screenshots that our room was supposed to be cleaned twice, yet the bed linen never changed and the beds were not properly attended to, which made us question the housekeeping standard. On 19 October we discovered part of the bed was broken, creating a real safety hazard, and I ended up injuring my leg because of it.

“It as a good experience and would recommend to friends. Making some improvements would make the accomodation perfect.”

The location is great and super convenient—walking to the mall and nearby shops and restaurants is a breeze. The room wasn’t very clean on arrival; the floor had a bit of dust. It would have been nice to have a dryer for longer stays. The staff were friendly, but only a few could speak English well. One morning the fire alarm went off and the announcement was in Korean, so we didn’t understand what was happening.

The location is excellent, high floor, and not far from the subway and bus station. The room was smaller than expected; it has a washing machine but no dryer, and there aren’t many hangers, so washing clothes for several days at once is a bit inconvenient.
