Hotel Costanera - Caja Los Andes

“Precioso hotel sureño, inmejorable ubicación frente al río.”

The setting is wonderful, with gardens, a riverside view, and the house itself. The room was comfortable with perfect beds, and the southern breakfast was plentiful. The staff were very friendly. Only two issues: there are many stairs, so be careful if you have mobility problems, and the signage is scarce; as an old building with several extensions, it should indicate the location of rooms.

Breakfast was great, the room was heated upon arrival, the staff were very kind, and the gardens were beautiful. However, the pool is temperate, not hot. Overall, a very good stay.

The buffet breakfast was varied, tasty, generous portions and a pleasant service atmosphere; the location is good, in central Valdivia, everything is within walking distance and less than five minutes by car. The twin‑bed mattress was old and needs replacement, and the rooms lack ventilation which causes condensation and water droplets in awkward places.

The location is perfect and the rooms have a stove. The room is a bit small, the beds are very small, and the curtain was super thin, letting all the morning light in.
