I loved Kadek’s energy; she was a fabulous host and very helpful. The place itself is set back from the market street and surrounded by a lush garden, a lovely escape from the city’s business and energy. I enjoyed breakfast on the veranda—yummy banana pancakes. It was a bit hard to find at first arrival; Google Maps was slightly off. My car from the airport couldn’t drive up Market Street, so I had to walk a bit with my luggage. A woman at one of the stalls was very helpful in showing me where Artja was; she even grabbed and carried one of my pieces of luggage. So nice.
