The breakfast was good and our host was very nice. The bathrooms were far from the rooms, there was no Wi‑Fi, the cleanliness left something to be desired, and it was expensive for a stop‑over village that offers nothing.

Aziz was an incredibly friendly, accommodating, and helpful host; the courtyard was lovely and the room was generous. The dinner was unbelievably tasty—arguably the best Tajine of the trip—and the breakfast was at least as good, especially the Berber omelette! Thank you for this wonderful short stay. The room was indeed very warm, and a mobile air‑conditioner would have helped, which I’m not a fan of. Ventilation was impossible because there were no curtains and you could see straight onto the bed from the window. Still, Aziz’s hospitality, the quiet courtyard, and the delicious food more than made up for that one drawback.

The riad is very pretty and authentic, nicely situated in the historic part of Tissint. The owner was super kind and ready to welcome me even though my booking was last minute. Breakfast was great. I had trouble connecting to the internet (Orange has no coverage in town, and the riad's wifi didn't work). But the owner did everything to help, quickly finding a solution from a friend who owns a café with wifi.
