Located just a hop from Hella and surrounded by a breathtaking landscape ideal for exploring the spectacular southern Iceland waterfalls, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Andrea for the warm reception and excellent tips on must‑visit spots, including the wonderful hot river bath at Reykjadalur! Parking is very convenient, spacious and easy to access. A truly pleasant stay that I wholeheartedly recommend.

“Una magnifica struttura”

It’s a magical spot surrounded by stunning scenery, just a stone’s throw from Hella and the beautiful southern Iceland waterfalls. The property is gorgeous with brand‑new, stylish finishes; our room was spacious with a magnificent hill‑view window, a small but perfectly standard bathroom, and a shower that felt like an Icelandic cascade. Breakfast varied from sweet to savory, plentiful and freshly cooked—think pancakes and eggs. The staff were kind and welcoming. The shoe‑removal policy at the entrance was fine, actually enhancing the already impeccable cleanliness. Parking was ample and convenient. The only nitpick: there was no towel rack in the bathroom, and the bed—made of two single mattresses—was too soft.

“Tante aspettative deluse”

I was blown away by the location, but the apartment was old, the kitchen didn’t work, and the shower was clogged. It didn’t match the listing at all. When I asked for help, neither the staff nor the owners offered any assistance. I even had to contact Booking support that same evening. I do the same job, and if a customer complains about a mismatch, the owners should do everything to satisfy them and not ruin the holiday. That never happened – zero empathy or help.

Clean, stylishly furnished, and felt very homely with amazing views; the only small thing—I’d love a cup of tea in my room.
