We were lucky to find this homestay! The host family was super helpful and kind, picked us up from the bus station and dropped us off at the hiking trails since we didn’t have a car—great because getting around here without one is tough. The rooms were just the right size and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was lovely and vegetarian‑friendly. On our last day a typhoon hit, all buses were cancelled, and the host also took us to the train station. Bonus: there are three adorable dogs too!

The location is very nice and the hosts are very loving, but it’s a bit dated.

Very worthwhile. The host’s service was excellent.

The owners were very friendly, and the next day when we had to leave early they set up a simple breakfast for us to take with us. The room was spotless, and there was a large balcony outside where we could sit and chat.
