It was an amazing experience. They originally wanted to drive us in the car, but we preferred to ride camels into the desert. The guide arranged it; otherwise we would have been driven in. The camel ride was unique. After an hour we switched to the car because it was too windy, or perhaps the camel guide wanted to return as clouds gathered. When we arrived at the camp we were warmly welcomed, and later we enjoyed a delicious four‑course dinner. Afterwards we spent some time by the campfire and were treated to drum music. Everything was really lovely. Another positive point is that the camp is a small one on the outskirts, not in the middle of things, so it’s nicely separate. The starry sky was also beautiful. I would probably try a different camp next time because the price difference was obvious. When I now look at other camps on the booking site, they don’t even cost half the price and include dinner. We paid an extra 200 MAD per person for dinner, so we feel cheated even though everything was great. The reviews for the other camps are also excellent and they cost much less.
