The breakfast was decent, though it could use some tweaks, and the resort sits in an excellent spot. Unfortunately, the pool rules were ignored – men, women, and kids were all swimming fully clothed.

The hotel’s location and the staff’s openness were positives; they speak frankly and are very polite, which I appreciate. On the downside, cleanliness was pathetic—cockroaches and lizards were in the room. The phone didn’t work when I checked in, and when I asked for a bathrobe, the staff honestly said they didn’t know how to provide one.

The location was fine, rooms were spacious, and the food was superb, but some senior male staff at reception behaved poorly, were rude, and unpleasant to guests.
