The cottage was spotless, the kitchen came stocked with plenty of gear, and the milk tablet and shortbread were a nice thoughtful touch. I liked everything, so there was nothing to complain about.

The location was excellent and the scenery was magnificent, the accommodation was tidy and comfortable, but there were problems with heating and hot water; the apartment was quite cool in October when the heating didn’t work properly, and on one day the showers only produced ice‑cold water.

The location was perfect right at the base of Ben Nevis and a short drive to many beautiful hikes; the accommodation was perfect for six of us, including two children, and had everything we needed, but the washing machine cost 5 pounds to use and we had no coins, so bring coins if you plan to use the washer or dryer.
