The staff were friendly and sent us a video with all the arrival instructions because there was no personnel that evening. The only downside was the lack of a roof or something on the small terrace outside the rooms, whether for smokers or to have a drink – it rains a lot in Belgium 😊. The TV was tiny, only suitable for watching from bed.

The restaurant and the bed’s comfort were great. Breakfast was taken in a small shared kitchen available to room occupants, with no staff to serve us, and there were no eggs, unlike the other hotels we’ve stayed at.

The room was fabulous, the dinner was delicious, and I would definitely return. Nothing to dislike.

The hotel’s rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the decor is cozy, parking is free, and breakfast is plentiful and varied. The restaurant serves very good food with a good selection. However, the cleaning lady seemed to think we had left, and the cleaning was quite noisy before 8 am – a bit early, but she is remarkably kind! Note that room 7 is designed for smaller people (a loft room with low beams). The restaurant can be loud at the start of service, especially the grill area where the chef bangs utensils – this could use improvement, please.
