It’s a charming hotel with a cheerful, bubbly design; the rooms were great and service impeccable, though the location wasn’t that great, but that wasn’t a big deal for us since getting around with transport was easy.

The rooms were beautiful, the spa was fantastic and quiet, and it felt luxurious; absolutely nothing was lacking.

The hotel was very clean, kudos to the cleaning team. When I first arrived I was feeling unwell and told the staff; I asked if my room could be ready earlier, but they said it wouldn’t be available before 3:00 PM and I finally got it then. I was a little disappointed that, despite my condition, no complimentary bottle of water or cup of tea was offered while I waited. Also, when I entered the room I saw that drinking water was only available in the minibar for an extra charge. In my view, for a hotel of this standard with a five‑star rating, complimentary water in the room and a small gesture of hospitality for guests in such circumstances would be expected.

The staff went above and beyond, making every moment feel special; they even noticed my birthday and decorated the room beautifully, which added a memorable touch to my visit.
