“Excellent value, wonderful host, brilliant location”
We were upgraded when we arrived to the deluxe suite and it was a beautiful, clean room, with a really comfortable bed. Great value for money. Bed was made fresh every day and bathroom toiletries, which were basic (shower gel and shampoo), were restocked every day too. Reda was our host and super helpful. You can ask him anything and he's incredibly generous with his time and effort. Very trustworthy riad manager. The riad is beautifully decorated - very much in keeping with the traditional, authentic style. It's like staying at a family's home and you get treated like family too. The rooms were quiet and had AC, the wifi was super strong so I could work on Zoom calls while I was there. On our last day, we had to leave very early and Reda woke up to give us a packed breakfast he had prepared the night before and said goodbye. The riad was in an excellent location in the centre of the old city, but the streets to get to it often smelt bad. This did not transfer at all to the experience in the riad however, which was exceptionally clean
