The property was delightful and set in beautiful countryside; breakfast was amazing, starting with the freshest fruit and yoghurt, followed by an English breakfast made with amazing local ingredients, with no complaints.

The breakfast was lovely, but there’s no lift and the stairs to the first‑floor and attic rooms are steep and spiral at the top—if you have joint pain, request a ground‑floor room.
