The décor was stunning and tasteful, and the owner Jo was welcoming and enthusiastic. The downside was the poorly lit, rough access road to the village; we felt a car was really necessary.

The lodge is very generous, with large, well‑furnished and thoughtfully designed rooms, great common areas, and original touches. The huge grounds offer secluded spots, a swimming pool, and a boules court. The breakfast is exceptional. The staff are attentive and friendly, making it a true haven you wouldn’t expect on the way. The vibe is very relaxed and laid‑back. The Atlantic and its fantastic beaches are only 700 m away. Absolutely nothing to criticize.

Staying at Kaouki Lodge was the standout experience of our entire trip, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Jo is an incredibly welcoming host, always ready with great local tips that made our stay even better. The property itself is beautiful, lush, green, and peaceful, and the pool is the perfect place to relax. The breakfast is lovely too, a great start to each day. We would come back in heartbeat!
