“Don't look under the bed”

The price was fair and the family room, with all beds in one space, worked well for our three kids under four. However, the room needed a deep clean – the shower grout was covered in mold and the decorative bed pillows were dirty. To our surprise, after we checked under the beds before leaving to make sure we hadn’t left anything, we found a pile of items left by previous guests, including a pair of adult shoes, a novel, children’s toys, drink bottles, a baby dummy, a balloon, and general rubbish – the list goes on! Overall, the room was clean enough and comfortable, though dated. You get what you pay for.

The place was clean and offered good value for the money paid. The hand basin had dripping taps, one overhead light was out for one bed, and the roses on the balcony were overgrown and needed pruning – it was hard to get past them without getting scratched.

The staff were very accommodating and happy to help.

The location was good and the room had useful extras like a microwave and kettle. The room and bathroom looked very dated, one light was out, and a curtain was coming off its rail on one side. There was a lot of road noise and you could hear people in other rooms or above you.
