Breakfast prepared fresh each morning by the host’s mother, with a rotating selection of sweet and savory dishes on the small, lovely terrace. The host family was very nice, kept us entertained, and gave great tips for the beach and excursions. The large, clean room had a big balcony overlooking Stromboli and was cleaned daily. The car was parked safely right outside the house with the gate locked. No major negatives. A note for the hosts: the shower head should be replaced after the season because it was leaking. Walking to the historic centre and the beach takes about 15 minutes up and down – you get used to it. E‑bikes can be rented from Baci & Bici.

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the city center and beach are both a relaxed walk away.
