We chose this spot because it welcomed pets, and our single small cat was happily accommodated while most other hotels would have refused; the beach, which was the main reason for our trip, was just a short walk away and absolutely stunning, so we didn’t need much else. The pool was superb, and floating on the lazy river after a sunny day was marvelous, especially with plenty of floats available. Breakfast was a highlight, with fluffy scrambled eggs, waffles, and a wide variety of other items—definitely a reason to return. The only downside was the $25/day parking fee; we knew about it beforehand, but paying extra on top of the room cost felt off. Also, I would have preferred the complimentary breakfast to run a bit later, perhaps until 10 am instead of 9:30.

The hotel sat right on the ocean and the facilities were clean, but the room turned out smaller than I had imagined; the photo on the booking site showed a couch, yet there were only two beds.
