its ok to have no lift, but its not ok when there is only one elderly lady stationed at the accommodation so no one is able to help us carry our heavy 30 inch luggage up the long flight of stairs when we are also elderly. We ended up spraining our wrists due to the lift - was not expecting any porter but at least expecting a younger person at the apartment who could help us co-lift the luggage. Everything else within the apartment was exceptionally old and rusty although well maintained

“Great small independent onsen”

The bus stop was right outside and there is a supermarket next door. Breakfast was delicious and the view was amazing. We felt very welcome! Fireworks both nights and we ventured in a 4.5k walk just behind the property. And as for the onsen…. Perfect!!!!. We needed the supermarket as there was no dinner available - too late in the season I suspect

“Would recommend for those looking for a cozy and warm stay near Lake Toya!”

Host was very friendly, both dinner and breakfast were delicious; building is on the older side but still very clean. Can see Lake Toya from the rooms, and can walk 3 minutes across the street to see the nighttime fireworks. Small onsen bath inside the pension. Rooms are on the older side and sound proofing isn't great (but I think that's expected from an older property)

目の前湖畔で良かった. 全て階段
