“Posizionato bene ma null'altro”
The metro stop being just five metres beneath the hotel is definitely the highlight, everything else left me unimpressed. They first gave us a room on the third floor that was already occupied, luckily the guest was in the bathroom at the time; we were moved to a first‑floor room that felt like being inside a subway because every sound echoed, and the “clean” double‑size sheets they provided were actually two single sheets stitched together and still full of sand and crumbs. The bathroom looks straight out of the 1970s with a bathtub and glass partition, but the controls are down low and the phone up high, making a simple shower a bit of an obstacle course. The staff acted promptly, yet the magnetic key lost its charge almost daily. Breakfast is served on the 11th floor, but the tiny lifts mean it takes ages to get up from the ground floor, and the dining area is cramped; when items like jam, croissants or savory snacks run out they are either not restocked or arrive very late, turning the morning into a race to grab something. The food itself isn’t outstanding, so overall it wasn’t a good experience.
