Excellent location, walkable to Canal de Midi and the castle, friendly staff, and well‑maintained facilities.

This hotel seems geared toward pilgrims, I think. The rooms are tidy but plain, suitable for a night’s stay but not luxurious. Dining is in the city, which is within walking distance, and you can also have breakfast there. Paid parking is available in the hotel’s secure lot. It’s a shame there’s no bar, but the city center is within walking distance and there are cafés right around the corner.

Clean room with a terrace. Very plain, a bit like a home.

The hotel is clean and well‑located for reaching the “cité” and the “comtal” castle, about a 15‑minute walk. It’s tidy and, for Carcassonne’s prices, a good deal. The downside is that it’s geared toward excursion travelers, meaning many people and rooms with 3 or 4 single beds. It’s not a “grand hotel,” but it gets the job done.
