Chez Ghazal Imlil, a boutique lodge in Imlil, offers family rooms with air‑conditioning, private bathrooms, TVs, and balconies overlooking the Atlas Mountains. The location was good, but the bathroom deserved a renovation; the booked 4‑room apartment was given to someone else and we received two different rooms instead, parking in front of the accommodation is also paid for (20 MAD/day), and the water was only lukewarm.

It was located right along the main road and reasonably close to the center, but the communication with staff could have been better; the young person running the reception and restaurant seemed reluctant to resolve my problems and made me feel like a bother.

Hamza was the best staff, but the shower left something to be desired.

The room was clean, close to the city center and taxis, spacious enough for four single beds—perfect for us four! The price‑for‑value was great, especially with the hearty breakfast included. I’d recommend it to walkers (and others) who appreciate authenticity without frills. The only downside was the lack of a shower.
