Riverfront Estate Bed&Breakfast Banff

“Perfect location with parking included and an easy keyless entry.”

I loved the location and the parking, and the mountain view from the bed was great. The bed was super comfy and the keypad entry was a real convenience. The staff I met were wonderful, but the air freshener smell in the room was too strong for me.

“Location is great, breakfast was not.”

The location was great, but the breakfast was not very good—it wasn’t what I’d call breakfast. They never changed our bedding or offered clean towels or extra toilet paper, so we had to go looking for it.

The room was very pleasant, the private bathroom was excellent, and the check‑in was simple. The croissants were not fresh.

“Underwhelming”

The accommodation was decent sized, very central, comfortable and clean. The breakfast quality and choice were poor, the door lock was faulty, and the experience felt soulless. Service was bad, worsened by a lack of English‑speaking staff, and the overall feel was underwhelming for the cost.

“Requiere mantenimiento y supervisión de los propietarios.”

The location is the only thing that stands out. The place isn’t very clean, especially the exterior looks very deteriorated and those who maintain it seem to treat the accommodation as their own. The patio, what’s visible from the basement, and the front terrace are dirty and full of trash. A façade and patio renovation would help, as would better communication with guests about check‑in. The exterior is not like the photos.
