Monterussi Bed and Breakfast

Structure at the gates of Lecce, 1970s… renovated, easy to reach, with private street parking. Air conditioning and refrigerator available. Host is kind and helpful. Breakfast includes a Leccese pastry brought to the room. Cleanliness needs review: I found the sheets dirty.

“Ottima posizione e Host gentile”

We were disappointed because the bathroom had issues caused by a previous guest’s damage, which made the room less comfortable. The room was fully equipped: a mini‑fridge with two bottles of mineral water, coffee pods, lactose‑free milk because of my intolerance, a kettle and teas, along with crackers and jam. The bed was very comfortable, but the room was a bit small and didn’t feel like it was meant for a couple; there was no headboard, so I asked for a blanket, though there were four nice pillows. Mr. Gianvito was extremely courteous. The location is convenient with free street parking. The room’s size, the fact that the shower flooded the bathroom, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close because it was misaligned were all negatives. We didn’t have a proper wardrobe, only a wooden and steel rack to hang things. The small table was awkward, so we never ate together.

We had a great stay and will definitely return; everything was good, especially Mr. Gianvito’s friendliness and cordiality. The pastry was excellent.

Room was clean, the welcome was very good, the owner listened to us and did everything possible to understand French.
