“Lovely hotel, would choose to stay here again!”

The spot is amazing, right in the Old Town’s heart. The old building feels lovely, the bedrooms are charming, staff are helpful, and the underground bar is fantastic—it's incredible to see what they've done down below. There's no elevator, so I had to climb three floors from reception to my room, but it’s a small price for staying in such a gorgeous historic building, and the workout was a bonus!

The stay itself was fine, but the way the final payment was handled was very unpleasant. On arrival we paid a fee marked as the accommodation charge, with the mandatory city fee to be settled at the end of the stay. At checkout the hotel added a tip to that fee before even asking if we agreed to pay it. Tips should always be voluntary, and guests should decide whether to give one and how much. I find it especially problematic that a foreign guest unfamiliar with the amount or the principle of the Prague local fee could easily think the presented sum is compulsory and must be paid in full. It’s not the amount itself that matters, but the principle and transparency. Such a practice is inappropriate, and at a hotel of this caliber we would not expect it. Unfortunately it spoiled an otherwise good impression of the stay.

“Bästa läget i Prag”

Helt fantastiskt läge bara ett par hundra meter från Karlsbron. Rena och mycket fräscha rum. Trevligt att det både fanns morgonrockar och tofflor! Rummet hade även ett kylskåp, vattenkokare, te, kaffe och en minibar.Jättebra frukost med mycket att välja på. Trevlig personal. Restaurangens uteservering mycket trevlig den också. Hotellet saknar hiss både i huvudbyggnaden och i annexet. Trapporna är något branta.När vi bodde där i sep 2026 genomgick annexet en omfattande renovering. Då vi absolut ville ha ett rum med två sängar (twin bed) hamnade vi i annexet. Rummet var litet, men det var av underordnad betydelse då vi var ute hela dagarna. Receptionen är endast bemannad mellan kl 07.00 och 19.00

The location was very central, and the hotel bar, restaurant, room, and breakfast were good. Despite the points below, overall I enjoyed my stay in the city. The room I stayed in was not in the main part of the hotel but above a courtyard, which was noisy from builders during the day and from staff putting bottles in the bin at 4 am—maybe they should put them out in the morning. I stayed three nights, thought it was a one‑off, and didn’t complain at first. The reception staff said if I’d come and complained, they would have moved me to another room if available. Just be aware that if you’re allocated a room accessed by going out the front door and into the next entrance on the street, you might get a noisy spot.

“Konum harika. İç dizayn özelikle yataklar rahat değildi.”

The location is great. The beds were not comfortable because of the roof‑top location, and the bathroom was also uncomfortable.
