It was a unique and quirky place to stay; parking was available right beside the boat and it was a short ten‑minute walk to the town centre; it was very comfortable for late October and would be utterly delightful in the summer; the only drawback was that the accommodation door could not be securely closed, which might make nervous guests a little uncomfortable.

The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, which was really great. I wish there had been a small TV in the cabin and that I could lock the cabin door with a key.

Sleeping on a boat in a peaceful setting yet close to the city is hard to resist. The steering wheel and cabin are not large, but everything needed is there, including two separate sleeping areas and air conditioning for hot days. The host was nice.

The cabin was tiny but well equipped, and the calm water setting made for a wonderful stay. I ate dinner and breakfast on the deck, and I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

Mr Sekou’s welcome was very caring and pleasant, and he was especially kind and available. Thanks for letting us stay a bit later in the morning. Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat that morning. Nothing was missing; it was truly cosy and enjoyable, a nice break from a harsh world.
