The room was clean yet very dated, the staff were friendly, and the location was good. However, the rooms need updating; they were very tired. An awful smell drifted from the room opposite ours in the evening, as if someone was cooking, and it stank down the corridor when we left in the morning.

We liked the whole package—room, food bar, and free parking—and will definitely return. The only issue was that the address is hard to find by postcode; using the hotel’s name works better. Nothing else to dislike about the hotel itself.
