Beautiful house well situated in the center of Périgueux, with a very pleasant host—thanks to them. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The accommodation was pretty. However, we thought there was one floor, but there were actually three, which wasn’t mentioned in the description. We had to pay to dispose of trash even though we were tourists and there was no parking available. The night was noisy, and the street sweeper passed at 5:30 am, which was not cool.

The house is well located, but it’s an old house that has been renovated; it’s not suited for very mature guests. It has four floors with very narrow stairs, and the floors are uneven. There are two bathrooms, but only one is functional. The door didn’t close properly, and there was only one paper towel in the bathroom. The owner was very friendly.

A raw diamond in a setting that speaks of this timber‑framed house right in the heart of Périgueux’s popular district, with restaurants, shops, and exemplary cleanliness rarely seen in other Airbnb listings. The décor shows great taste, and the charm of the floor in the main bedroom is exceptional. The loft bedroom on the upper floor is the same; it feels like my grandmother’s house with plenty of hidden corners. The bedding feels like a cloud 🌤, and there is not a single noise. I recommend it 300 % and would love to see it star‑rated. I thank the owners for the little extras and also thank Sophie for her kindness and availability. I’ll return whenever I can—thanks again for keeping it up.
