“Dreamy Coastal town Hotel”
A hotel located in a dreamy coastal town, right next to the beach. It's charming, we loved the decoration of the restaurant with the terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel does really give you the "Mediterranean Town" vibe. Very comfy bed, wifi worked well, we had a good rest (we kept the balcony doors closed as we were using AC). We were on a car roadtrip so we appreciated the option of private parking for an extra fee. It only took us 20mins walk to the next town (Calella de Palafrugell) where we went for dinner. The receptionist in the morning who did our check-out was so friendly and spoke our languages (English and Catalan)! Bonus points for having beach towels available, we managed to get some time to the beach after breakfast and getting the towels from reception was so so handy!. The room wasn't really big, it was enough for us as we were only staying 1 night but it might be too small for a longer stay. Low pressure in the shower, it was tricky to get the right temperature, it took a while to get hot. Breakfast: there were no cups for us to get our coffee, and we were standing there for a good while until a staff member was available (nowhere to be seen), other people managed to ask for coffee cups and they only brought 4 out. This might be something irrelevant for some, but my partner who is English and currently trying to learn Catalan was excited to practice some language however, the girl at the reception did not switch to Catalan when we arrived for the check-in, she would speak Spanish or English which is handy for many people but not if you want to practice Catalan (the language of that region)
