The guesthouse is perfect for starting or ending a road trip in Namibia, the indoor parking is handy for a 4X4 with a roof tent, and getting to the Maeru mall in under two minutes is another plus for stocking up.

The place was well‑located, but the breakfast fell short when I asked for an omelette and they said the eggs were finished.

There was no warm water, and a noisy event at a nearby sportsground kept playing until 23:00, which was a real annoyance. The front‑facing rooms also suffered from the loud traffic on the busy road.
