Hotel Styrolerhof, a family-run hotel in Steeg, is nestled in the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps' stunning mountain landscape. The Warth-Schröcken Ski Area, with 10 daily ski bus departures, is 15 minutes away. The hotel features a spa area with an indoor pool, hot tub, and Finnish sauna. Cross-country ski runs, winter hiking trails, and snowshoe hiking trails are accessible directly from the hotel.

The staff were attentive and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent with fresh‑pressed juices included. Parking is right outside the building and there’s a bus stop directly in front. The restaurant served good food, and the hotel has a sauna and pool, though we didn’t use them. The Lechtal Akitv Card offers many discounts, including free bus rides. The only downside was the rug in the room, which we found not very hygienic.

The service was very friendly, but the supposed wellness area was poorly designed, and neither the steam sauna nor the larger sauna were turned on. Even after asking, nothing changed, forcing 8‑10 people to share a sauna meant for about five. By 08:30 the breakfast buffet was already heavily depleted, and fresh bread was gone.

Breakfast was very good, the rooms were nice, and the pool had pleasantly warm water—perfect for relaxing after an active day.

A fantastic breakfast and a very good dinner menu, plus the staff were extremely friendly and always had a joke ready. The whole vibe felt very family‑like, and the senior chef was lovingly called "Grandpa" by the staff. Simply great. Nothing was missing, everything was super.

The exterior is plain, but inside the rooms are tastefully renovated and the indoor pool is pretty. The staff are very friendly, overall highly recommended.
