The place had a good spot, overall it was fine, but the first room was insanely noisy all night—so loud from outside that we stayed up all night, which contradicts most noise comments here. After that they moved us to another room and that one was acceptable.

The building sits in a great spot for walking around the city, 10 minutes from bus stops and a few minutes from attractions. The room was relatively small but had a kettle and coffee set, was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s above the namesake pub and is well sound‑proofed. The pub staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were even offered a house tour. It’s hard to sleep with the windows open because of street noise, but the sound‑proofing is excellent.

The bed was excellent, the staff were lovely, and the air‑con worked well. Nothing else—everything was great.

Loved the location easily able to walk everywhere! Nice to have drinks in the bar downstairs! Fiona and Dave were so friendly and welcoming!. Small shower and flat pillows
