A stunning mansion‑style guesthouse run by Benoit, who pays close attention to every detail. In season you’ll enjoy a huge garden with a big pool at the end. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms even bigger, the linens top‑class, and the bed super comfy. Benoit loves hosting, and breakfast was delicious and made to order. It’s a classy, highly rated “hotel.” We’d love to come back! We were lucky to snag parking immediately, though street parking could be a problem. Otherwise, it was a flawless stay.

The host’s welcome, the story of Hélène de Surgères and poet Pierre de Ronsard told wonderfully by our host, the excellent meals, the very pleasant rose suite, the beautiful bathroom with its large shower, the meals and breakfasts enjoyed in the verandah and garden—everything was perfect. We’ll return. Nothing was wrong.
