“Prima!”
When we finally made it down the street, I had low expectations, but we were greeted with a welcome drink and the room looked exactly like the photo. The spacious room and nice outdoor bathtub were great. Breakfast requires a heads‑up the day before, but it was good with fresh juice and fruit, though my teens found it a bit lacking. You can use the pool on the other side of the street, which also has a massage, and the hotel pool just around the corner on the busy street; both are great for lounging. We took a walk toward the helicopter spot I found on Google, climbing the stairs to the helicopter is possible. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and the beach is also within walking distance, though walking back from the beach at night is a bit less pleasant. Thankfully the beach club owner offered a free bring‑and‑pick‑up service.

They welcomed me by name, wrote my first and last name on my bed, scattered flower petals everywhere, and gave me a big smile and a drink, which really made me happy. The room is huge and beautiful, the bed is enormous and ultra‑wide, and the bathroom, especially the shower, is amazing—it's the best shower I've ever had, feeling like a hot waterfall outside. Everything is very clean and the room is tidied daily. The terrace is lovely and spacious with lush greenery, and there is no noise at all. I was lucky to be well‑situated, very calm and quiet. You can access the large pool and the spa at the neighboring hotel, which is really great. Breakfast is a choice buffet, super and plentiful, and I enjoyed it every morning. Honestly, a very good hotel. The three issues are: first, the location—it's 1.4 km from the lively center of Pemuteran; second, no one speaks English, making communication difficult; third, the mattress is a bit hard (not a major problem, just a note).
It’s a small but charming homestay guesthouse at the end of Pemuteran, a 15‑minute walk to the Biorock/Taman Sari area for a wonderful swimming and snorkeling beach. You can walk down an alley to the beach and stroll the whole way or take the road. The two pools are at the sister hotel next door; they’re huge, clean, and the best pools I’ve had in Pemuteran. Breakfast is the standard included breakfast at most places—simple, basic, but substantial. The beds are comfy, A/C is great, toiletries are provided, the room is cleaned daily, and the staff are very nice. Wifi is good and strong, no issues streaming or working on a laptop. The fridge in the room is great, the open‑air bathroom is lovely, and the garden and grassy area just outside our room is perfect for my small dog. The walls are pretty thin, so you can hear your neighbors, but it’s no big deal. You can’t beat the price for what you get. Nothing to complain about!
