“Molt bé 😊”
Prices were good, the building was well preserved with a pool and a beach right on the line, spectacular fjord views from the room, friendly staff, nearby restaurants, and especially the Boka restaurant with very helpful, friendly staff and great food. The area is recommended if you want tranquility or if you’re traveling with kids; it’s full of mini‑supermarkets. The hospital and the port are nearby. Bring cash because small shops don’t accept Visa. I didn’t like having to drive to the accommodation at all; everyone had a lot of grip and they were quite rude while driving. Also, we didn’t expect the path to the accommodation to be so narrow and without a safety barrier, so it was a direct path to the sea. Breakfast is included, but you have to walk a kilometer to enjoy it. Our negative experience was poor service and food that was not in very good condition.
“Etwas außerhalb von Kotor gelegene nette Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf die Bucht von Kotor”
The view of Kotor’s bay is amazing, and the host is super friendly! The room was clean and well equipped. There’s a garden pool with comfortable loungers, and parking is right in front of the Palazzo. The only issue is that the place doesn’t serve breakfast, so you have to walk about 1 km to Konoba Marija for a morning meal. You can always brew your own coffee, and the host keeps homemade cookies on hand. Since it’s a bit outside Kotor, you’ll need a car; the entrance road is narrow and heavily trafficked.
“Comfortable property offering stunning views.”
Large room with stunning views
“Kurzaufenthalt.”
The location is great, the rooms look nice, and the pool is lovely – right on the sea. The only downside is that you can only pay with cash.
“Erg teleurstellend!”
The bay is beautiful. We stayed four nights with four friends. The rooms were tidy, but the value for money was very disappointing. We paid about €72 per person per night, which is far too high for this property. During our trip around Montenegro we stayed at several hotels and apartments for around €40 per night that were noticeably better in comfort, service, and facilities. What surprised us was that the day before arrival we received a WhatsApp message telling us that we had to pay the full stay in cash upon arrival – this wasn’t clearly stated when booking and came as a shock. One room had breakfast included; the other required an extra €5 per person. Breakfast wasn’t served in the villa but at a restaurant about 1 km away. The selection was very limited: omelet, fried egg or muesli, with one coffee and a glass of water included. For a place that presents itself as a luxury villa we expected much more. Several amenities were portrayed more nicely than they actually were. The shared kitchen turns out to be the owners’ private kitchen and can basically only be used for coffee. The covered terrace is also the owners’ living area and doesn’t feel like a space guests can freely use. The washing machine can only be used when the owner has finished her own laundry, usually late in the afternoon, and the dryer is not really encouraged. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were rather plain. The shower set was rusty, the shower door hung almost apart, and during our stay one toilet kept leaking while another got clogged several times. The garden was poorly maintained and didn’t give the impression you’d expect from a property in this price range.
