“Tired, grateful it was only one night. Bedding clean staff helpful. Decor, upkeep etc poor”

The staff were friendly and the banoffee pie was tasty. I was tired, the shower plug was blocked with dirt and hair, silicone was coming away and hanging down, and there was black mould around the edges of the shower. A chair in the room would have helped. Large areas of stained carpet made my heart sink when we arrived, including a 12” stain between the beds and larger ones in the entrance. 🤢

“Good value”

The value for money is good. The road outside is very noisy.

The staff, the food, and the overall atmosphere made for a genuinely enjoyable stay.

“Friendliness and helpfulness of staff was the strength at this hotel. Quality and variety of food was also very good”

The location was spot‑on for what we needed, and the bus connections were excellent. The furnishings could use a refresh, especially the carpets, and the front room suffered from the noise of the busy main road when the windows were open. As mentioned earlier.
